Plaxico Burress shot in leg at Business club
New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was accidentally shot in the leg at a business club, it was reported Saturday.
ESPN.com and Fox Sports.com said the wound was not life threatening. It was not clear at what club the shooting took place. The Fox Web site said Burress spent the night in the hospital.

Saeimas budžets samazināts par 3,2 miljoniem latu
Pirmās asās Saeimas deputātu diskusijas piektdienas vakarā, apspriežot nākamā gada budžeta projektu, izvērtās par priekšlikumu parlamenta budžetu samazināt par 3,28 miljoniem latu un atvēlēt naudu dažādām sociālām sfērām.
Priekšlikumu mazināt Saeimas budžetu pirmdien akceptēja Saeimas finanšu un budžeta komisija. Parlamentā šo iesniegumu bija parakstījuši vairāku partiju frakciju vadītāji.
